 Meet David Crane! Owner of Warrior Within Group. David has been teaching Krav Maga since 2011. He has over 40 years experience in martial arts, self-defense and defensive tactics. He is qualified in the following: • Self Defense & Krav Maga Specialist/Consultant • Krav Maga – International Instructor & Certified ranks • Judo (Black belt) – Registered in Canada & Japan Kickboxing (Black belt) • MMA (Aikijutsu, Kyokushin Karate, Grappling and Weapons) • Boxing • Kempo • Tae Kwon Do In the late 1980’s he served in the Royal Newfoundland Regiment (Canadian Army reserve Infantry unit) and currently works in Law Enforcement for the Federal Government. In 2011, David opened his first Krav Maga school in Edmonton. Currently he offers private and group lessons along with regular classes. For several years, he has been a member of the T3 - Team Tactical Training and obtained his Close Protection armed and unarmed certificate in 2017. He retains a high-level of knowledge and expertise that he forwards to his students. His specialty programs involve an evolutionary form of self-defense (Krav Maga) blended with physical fitness to help you boost your strength while building self-confidence and self-esteem. David has hundreds of 5 star ratings; his teachings have empowered many. He believes that nothing is a one-size fits all and everyone deserves to find the best training and services to address their concerns. He believes in creating a comfortable, holistic environment where he can empower his students to build the self-confidence they are seeking and grow. David has been featured in the Shirley McQueen – 95.7 CRUZ FM Edmonton Blog, Edmonton Journal, Fine Lifestyles magazine, YEG Fitness, ShawTV and CTV Morning Live. Recently he became a Reiki master and has been a hypnotherapist for over 20 years helping people release negative energies that are holding them back. David truly enjoys pushing himself to grow and learn, in many different ways. He loves spending time with his two children, listening to audio books, going hiking, biking, shooting, and other outdoor activities. He enjoys meditation and training in physical activities such as kickboxing, Judo, and Krav Maga along with other tactical systems.

 Monika and I entered the hair removal business at the same time offering Sugaring; mine as a mobile business, hers at her home. We have both evolved our businesses to offer other services. Monika and I continue to support each other as some clients prefer mobile services and other prefer home based. Our businesses work seamlessly together; my sugaring clients see Monika when I am on vacation and I see hers when she is away.

Summer is my favourite season as I am an avid gardener with a beautiful yard.. I like walks in the river valley with friends. I enjoy live theater and burlesque shows. I rarely miss a yoga class or a gym workout and I always have one or more books that I am reading. I am a world traveller and have many trips planned for the future.”
