I Love My Small Business: Lendrum Sugaring & Laser

Monika and I entered the hair removal business at the same time offering Sugaring; mine as a mobile business, hers at her home. We have both evolved our businesses to offer other services. Monika and I continue to support each other as some clients prefer mobile services and other prefer home based. Our businesses work seamlessly together; my sugaring clients see Monika when I am on vacation and I see hers when she is away.

For 20 years I worked as an IT contractor but I missed having a personal connection with those I worked with. In 2016 a friend suggested a home based sugaring business and it just felt so right for me.  It's one of the best choices I have ever made. Five years later I expanded to include laser services for hair removal and skin rejuvenation.  I am loving it! 

Every day is fun for me! I love meeting new people, having interesting conversations and hearing new points of view. I love helping people feel comfortable and welcome. Many of my clients have tried laser over the years with less than satisfactory results. My analytical mind enjoys figuring out how to provide optimal results. Part of my approach to achieving the best results is learning as much as I can by reading clinical studies related to laser hair removal and hair growth in general.  I enjoy sharing this information with my clients.

Summer is my favourite season as I am an avid gardener with a beautiful yard..  I like walks in the river valley with friends. I enjoy live theater and burlesque shows. I rarely miss a yoga class or a gym workout and I always have one or more books that I am reading. I am a world traveller and have many trips planned for the future.”
